Biography of the author:
Born at Varese, Italy 26 July 1949.
Medical Surgeon, specializing in Radiology, lives and works in Varese as director of
diagnostic services of imagines for a private clinic.
Inherited a passion for the sea from his Tuscan father.
His first certification in 1970 was with FIPS, then Assistant Instructor & Master
Scuba Diver with PADI up to Instructor with ESA.
Passionately active in teaching & the formation of scuba diving students and works
with the Staff of the Aqva Club of Varese.
His first photographic shots in 2000 using a MotorMarine II-EX, won him 1st
prize in the Motormarine-Campaign of the Red Sea (Tropical Sea section) in 2001.
Currently uses a Nikon F-80 with a Subal housing using a 17-35mm Sigma lens and a 90 mm
Tamron Macro, with Subtronic flash.
The picture was taken while snorkeling in ambient light, at Dolphins House at Marsa
Alam in the Red Sea.
